Runner ability reference
These entries combine the 3 October shop capture with the 6 October beginner guide. Prices are dated Gem amounts, not a live shop feed. Effects belong to the role named in the table.

| Ability | Guide / capture price | Documented effect | Relevant limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloak | 1,000 Gems | Hides you for three seconds | You can still be hit; the shop card says using an item ends the cloak. |
| Pocket Door | 400 Gems | Creates a temporary door; the early guide gives six seconds | The capture describes Chasers smashing through or going around. A barrier is not permanent safety. |
| Emergency Airhorn | 1,000 Gems | A short-range blast knocks a Chaser back in the early capture | A later recording describes nearby Chasers in every direction; do not assume the early wording defines every update. |
| Inflatable Decoy | 750 Gems | The capture says a copy runs straight ahead for seven seconds | It pops when caught; the copy’s path is not a new route you control. |
The shop capture labels these as permanent unlocks without charges. That label describes ownership; it does not establish a cooldown value or unlimited activation at every moment in a round. For the purchase and selection sequence, use Get Abilities.
Chaser ability reference
The first three entries are described in the early guide. ProjectSupreme’s later shop narration also names them and reads the Leash and Rocket Shoes effects.
Swipe or scroll this table on a narrow screen.
| Ability | Early-guide price | Documented effect | Relevant limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rufus’s Leash | 1,200 Gems | Pulls a Runner up to six studs toward you | ProjectSupreme reads a forward leash cast separately from its pull distance. Neither number defines the knife hitbox. |
| Big Dagger | 900 Gems | Doubles melee reach for the next hit; the early guide gives a five-second window | This temporary ability is distinct from a dagger-named knife or pass. |
| Rocket Shoes | 850 Gems | Bursts in movement direction, or camera-forward from a standstill | This is a different tool from the basic acceleration-based dash. |
The comparison page uses these differences to choose a tool for closing distance, reach or movement. It does not translate a creator’s “overpowered” title into a measured win rate.
Later recorded additions and limits
Later original recordings show why an early-guide table cannot be called a complete current shop catalogue.
Swipe or scroll this table on a narrow screen.
| Ability | Recorded role | Description read or reported by the author | Scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| One Hit Shield | Runner | Default reads a 0.75-second raised window, blocking the next hit before breaking | 9 October recording. His account already has the option; no universal free-unlock condition is established. |
| Bear Trap | Chaser | Default describes a briefly held target and a 12-second trap lifetime | 9 October recording. A displayed/owned option does not establish a Gem price for all players. |
| Bowling Ball | Chaser | ProjectSupreme describes a ball rolling along the ground and briefly tripping a directly hit Runner | 10 October recording. No price or complete collision specification is adopted here. |
Different source dates also matter for effects such as Airhorn’s range wording. Keep a card’s role, duration and condition together rather than combining a later effect with an earlier price and presenting the combination as a fresh measurement.
Currency, ownership and role are separate
The 3 October screen explicitly offers Gems or Robux for several permanent unlocks. That is an in-game ability purchase, not automatically a gamepass in the official universe pass list. Gems are the documented earned-currency route.
Buying a Runner ability does not make you a Runner when the match assigns another role. Owning an unlock and choosing it as your equipped tool are also separate actions. An undocumented cooldown, new price or missing shop item remains outside this dated reference.
